Where is the Hertz car rental desk?
The Hertz desk is in the car rental lobby at the airport’s entrance/exit in Terminal B. We’re in the top-left corner.
Follow the signs for the car rental lobby and if you have trouble finding it, the friendly airport staff are always on hand to offer directions.
How to get to the Hertz service desk from Terminal A
Those in Terminal A can take the blue shuttle services. This goes to and from the car rental hub.
How to get to the Hertz service desk from Terminal B
If you’re in Terminal B, you can get to the service desk by walking across Airport Boulevard at the crosswalks from baggage claim.
San Jose car rental shuttle
San Jose Airport’s shuttles run 24 hours a day, and they’re scheduled to arrive every seven to 10 minutes. They go between the terminals and rental car center, and are wheelchair-accessible.
How to get to Downtown San Jose from San Jose Airport
Downtown San Jose is just a three-mile drive from the airport.
- Leave the car rental lot (there’s only one exit) to join Airport Boulevard.
- When the road merges, move into one of the two central lines, signposted Skyport Dr.
- You’ll loop around the end of the runway. At the end of the road, turn left on to Coleman Avenue, Interstate 880 North.
- Follow Coleman Avenue all the way into Downtown.
